Fall Season

WELCOME TO FALL 2025!

6U-12U Game Schedule Link  --->  Will be posted when available!

The Fall Season is our primary season, with over 250 players ranging in divisions from 6U through 16U.  Registration for the Fall Season usually occurs in May/June. To have guaranteed team placement, you should plan to register early, before the early-summer cut-off, otherwise your child will be placed on a wait list.

6U -12U

Practices usually start mid to late August. Regular season games  start just after Labor Day weekend and continue on through the last week in October for 6U and 8U. 10U through 12U teams in good standing will participate in a Regional tournament in early to mid November.  Winners from the Regional tournament have the option of attending an Area tournament.  Teams that win the Area tournament will advance to the Section tournament in early December (usually played in Foster City) and the winner of the Section tournament will advance to the State tournament in March.

All games are held on Saturdays.  If your team is on an Area team, you will be considered a traveling team and will travel to Winters, Esparto/Capay, Davis or Antelope.

14U-16U: teams will play on the CalNorth circuit/ game locations depend on teams registered in their division

Each player intending on playing in any of the AYSO seasons (Fall) needs to be registered. See the registration tab for more information about registration.

Fall Uniform

Fall Uniform - NEW THIS SEASON!

During the Fall Season each player will wear the same versatile uniform. The jerseys are blue and gold. The shorts and socks are blue. This consistency in uniform design will allow families to save money by reusing jerseys year-after-year.

The "home team" wears the blue jersey and the "away team" wears the golden jersey. However, for teams that travel to other communities and play, your team can choose which color to wear.

They will come printed with the AYSO logo and a random jersey number. Please remember, however, that names and additional logos are not allowed to be added to these jerseys.

Beginning Fall 2026, parents/guardians will be responsible for ordering the player's uniform directly from Score with the provided link. New uniforms will not be required each year. If you have uniforms from previous Fall Seasons, you will be welcome to use those! **The registration fee will not include the uniform cost.

Shoes and shinguards must be worn to every practice and every game. The younger players may play in their tennis-shoes, but the older players may enjoy the benefits of soccer cleats. Shinguards should be big enough to provide a reasonable degree of protection.

Playground

AYSO Playground Soccer is designed for 3-5-year-olds. This innovative FMS (fundamental motor skills) based program features Activity Leaders, certified through the AYSO National Coaching Program, who understand the needs and capabilities of this age group and are sensitive to the needs and bonding experience of the parent.

There is no competition in AYSO Playground Soccer! The goal of AYSO Playground is to allow kids to develop fundamental motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and social interaction in a fun and safe AYSO environment. Children get to gradually discover the game for themselves while bonding with parents or guardians.

We offer a program in the Fall Season specifically for 3 year olds. This will be offered as a 1 day/ week soccer clinic format. The sessions will be during the week and will not have games on Saturdays. The weekday schedule will be decided by the Playground Program Coordinator/Coach.
